WHAT IS THE EDGE? The Edge is a licensed broadcast facility serving the East Tennessee State University Campus via cable channel 13 and the web. The Edge is managed by undergraduate and graduate Students of the University and is staffed by members of the University, including undergraduate students, faculty, and staff. It is used by the Division of Broadcasting as a training facility.

STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES - The Edge will serve as a training facility for students in all facets of management and operations of a commercial radio station.
- The Edge will promote and support student empowerment.
- The Edge will serve as a forum for individuals and groups that historically have not had access to broadcast media.
- The Edge will provide programming and services that benefit the ETSU student body.
